Wishlist – March // Drugstore

Hey Guys

So Wish list number 2 and this time it is all about drugstore, It is a mix of new release and just all time most wished for. Also go and check my previous post about my High end make up Wishlist.

Essie – Lovie Dovie

Everytime I am in front of an Essie display I found myself grabbing that one and weirdly I never buy it, I even ended up buying another color the other (in stiches) so I need this month to actually bring that baby to the till. £7.99

Make Up Revolution London – Lip Lava Trevor

Those lip lava are obviously a dupe for the too faced melted lipstick so I am very curious, those are so cheap and the color is interesting, I will certainly get it. £2.99

Make Up Revolution London – Blush and Contour Palette Sugar and Spice

Very pretty, colors are amazing and I have already swatched it and it is so pigmented but they didn’t have it in stock so I need to go on a hunt for it. £6

Real Techniques – Real expert face brush

I need one, I swear I don’t have any like that and it will be very good to use with my Cindy-Lou Manizer, those brushes are so great in term of quality that I need them all. £9.99

Make Up Revolution London – Iconic 2 Palette

This palette is so cheap and I recently heard that it’s a dupe for the urban decay naked 2 palette so I need to test that palette just to check, reviews on youtube and blogs are incredible and pigmentation is apparently awesome. £4

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Lightweight Primer

Ok, I probably don’t need a new primer but I need to see if there is good drugstore one. I only use high end one so I need to compare and apparently this one is very similar to the Benefit Porefesional so I need to try that out. £7.99

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit

Finally a drugstore contour kit, yeah ! Barry M is very cheap and so damn good in terms of quality in their products, I don’t know how they do that so as I don’t own any contour kit well I need to get that. £6.49

So total is £45.45 which is not bad, I will probably end up getting everything on that list if I am lucky so a haul will probably happen on youtube!

So every month to do a kind of follow up with my favorites video on my youtube channel I will post the 3 following days my 3 wish lists for the upcoming month. (High end make up, Drugstore make up and fashion).

I have made those wish lists with polyvore and I will link at the end the link so you can have all the references of the products on the pictures if you want as well to get those products.

Nars Blush Mata Hari

I had my eyes on that blush for a million years, I need it in my life the color is something I don’t have in my collection and I don’t know plum colors are just my thing lately. Also I don’t own yet a Nars product so I need it! £23

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

Again, I don’t own anything like that yet. I love the brand and everybody is talking about that palette so people on the internet have created a need and I can’t get it out of my head. £36

Too Faced Melted Candy

I need it, I have one of the original one if the color Peony but those one are brand new and the formula is very different. Also you guys know how I like my fuchsia lipsticks lately. £16

Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel Palette

I thought this was a limited edition but it is still available so I was very surprised, but it is very expensive. Colors are amazing and tutorial on youtube with this colors are just gorgeous so I am really tempted. £45

MAC Patisserie Lipstick

I have been looking for that color for month, can’t find it in any MAC every time I am trying to so I guess I have to order it online but I hate it, I want to swatch it first but I love it, I need a new nude lipstick in my life. £15.50

So total is £135.50 ouch! I don’t think I will won the lottery so I have to control myself but those are very nice and well rated products that I am considering buying anyway, will see if my finances are feeling the same way – lol -.

Cindy-Lou Manizer // The Balm

IMG_0079Cindy-Lou Manizer // The Balm

This product is a love at first sight. I can’t believe I have live my life without that product, yes it is that kind of product.

So today I am reviewing the Cindy-Lou Manizer by the Balm that I have received (for free) from birch box, when I say for free it is box I have paid for with the points I have earned every month. So as this little fella cost £16, well I am pretty happy about it.

So I have been wearing that baby for a few days now and I am totally in love. Beauty blogger and youtube Guru were raving about the Mary-Lou Manizer but quite honestly I prefer that one. I haven’t tried it but I am way more in love with the pink shade of that luminizer.  I had the choice and my heart went for that one.

Just lovely, to be quite franc The Balm is a huge reminder of Benefit. It is so obvious, but the quality and uniqueness of their product is worth the copycat like and no girls can have too much of a pin up style in their make up.

So I am really impressed with the quality and efforts that has been put in the box and product itself. It’s cute, fun and quirky.

I love the fact that there is something to read on every inch of the box, just love it!

It’s an obvious pink undertone luminizer, very sheer but ,no glitter! Which I love because a little bit of sprinkle can’t hurt but I don’t want to end up at the end of the day with that weird sparkly like glow on my face and this product is the opposite.

The texture is very buttery, pigmented and the undertone of the product is very peachy. A lot of people say that it suit better darker skin but I do not agree. I am quite fair and as I am wearing foundation, bronzer etc…well it compliment well the overall tone.

Also you can use it as a blush or an eye shadow, it is a versatile product but I would for sure use it as a blush and mostly as a highlighter/luminizer.

On the picture I only wear powder, no foundation because I wanted it to be visible, as you can see it is not the kind of “in your face” luminizer. It’s very discrete, simple and it catches the light so well it gives my skin that “healthy” glow that I was looking for in a very long time.

As I said, if you blonde and fair like me it would suit you, trust me.

Overall I think it is a great product, I believe it would become my go to luminizer. The kind of make up item that will never leave my bag. I am just very impressed, The Balm is a company I will for sure buy more in the near future.

The Balm products are available in some super drug in the Uk, they do have a website and you can also order some of their product range on birchbox.
