Pretty Little Liars – My Theory –

Cece Is Bethany

During the season finale 6×10 something really shocked me more than anything (SPOILER : more than CeCe Being -A). We all know that -A is a psycho, master manipulor driven by the thirst of hurting people and we are pushed to believe that this human being is CeCe Drake aka Charles/Charlotte Dilaurentis.

Make sense, I almost got sucked in the « let’s tell the truth » vicious circle of that episode. But let’s rewind, are we really meant to believe all the things that are coming out from CeCe’s mouth ? I don’t think so. Plus I don’t believe at all the the game is « over » when it comes from someone pretending to be -A.

What I am trying to say is that CeCe is not Uber -A at all, she is just here to fill the gap and cover for someone else. We got answers but it is all very messy and a lot of things don’t add up at all (let’s not even talk about Toby’s Mom Marion Death).

So I have screen Shot you the exact moment I felt there was more to the story and that is when CeCe is telling Ali that she went to charles funeral and came back as Charlotte in Radley.

My Theory is the following :

I strongly believe that Cece is Bethany because first the little girl in the flashback is in her features very similar and obvisouly because of what she said. She really seemed to believe that Charles is another person (and not like Charles belong to the past now I am Charlotte) and seems to emphasis that part a lot. I do believe that in the scene CeCe is at her weakest point she ever been as her, -A and in the entire show.

******

In my opinion what CeCe is telling us during that episode is a mix of truth an lies. That flashback with Marion is really important because maybe Charles really pushed Toby’s Mom and that is why Mrs D had to make believe he was dead or indeed Bethany pushed her and took her away to put her back in Radley under the name of “Charlotte”.

Bethany and Charles were really close without knowing there were family (I am so sure about it) they could be cousins or siblings. If they are siblings well fate is not really nice with the Dilaurentis so Mrs D lied and told different stories so no one will discover that both Charles and Bethany are her children. I do believe though that Mr D is not Bethany father and I also do believe that Charles was a nice kid and that his transgender problem was too much of a burden so Mr D got rid of him for the wrong reasons. As for Bethany she was probably psycho and had to be put in Radley for many reasons.

Let me also remind you guys that in the past we were told that Mrs D took care of Bethany a lot and we heard a tape on which Bethany is saying that she hates Mrs D. So there was for sure a relationship between Mrs D and her now we have to discover which one.

******

If Bethany is Mrs D Niece that would mean that she is the child of that famous aunt Carol (which I do believe is Mrs D twin) and that is why Aunt Carol visited her so many times and why « Charles » was buried in her garden, everybody was keeping a secret for another secret.

******

Now for Charles he might be really Dead and Bethany is using the transgender excuse to make believe that she is Charles or he was send away, got free and is the real Uber -A using Bethany/CeCe to cover his mess and little torturing game.  That would explain why at the end of that episode in the time jump the girls are talking about a « he « being after Ali.

To make it short I do believe that CeCe is Bethany, helping Charles the real Uber -A.

10 Questions that need answer to my opinion :

  1. I still don’t get though who Sara Harvey is and what is her background story ?
  2. who is in the grave because it is suppose to be Bethany as Mona admitted killing her during that famous night in the season 6×10 finale.
  3. Why is Mrs D not shocked when in the flashback CeCe is dating Jason her brother ! Mrs D is more preoccupied by the situation around Charles/CeCe secret that the gross dating situation between her children.
  4. Who was Ali running away from this entire time when she was suppose to be “dead”?
  5. Why Bethany is not someone we seen as a Grown up ?
  6. Is Rhys Uber -A aka real Charles ? Because I know that he was supposedly hired by CeCe but common he is so looking like a DiLaurentis.
  7. What really happened to Maya ?
  8. How did Charles/CeCe got the medical supply to go through a sex change in a asylum ?
  9. There was a male figure to portrait -A many times the last season (5) and this season (6) so who is it ? (for exemple when the girls were abducted in the van before ending up in the dollhouse a Hooded guy opened the door not a girl.)
  10. Who Killed Mrs D ? Because first she knew and was shocked by the person who killed her and if it was Mr D as everybody think CeCe would have killed him because let’s face it -A knows everything.

Now tell me your theories, point of view and comment please! that Episode finale was not satisfying at all, I want more and I need answers so please let’s share our thoughts.

Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of | Review |

backstreet-boys-show-em-what-youre-made-of

I rushed to the theatre last thursday (26th of February) after work to get in time. So to explain a bit the situation because it was a very unusual event the film was at a unique time in selected theatre all over Europe ! Also the Backstreet Boys were here in London at the Dominion theatre to offer us after the movie a live concert which was in prime time all over Europe again. It was just amazing, Wish I could have been there, it wasn’t that far, I just couldn’t make it on time due to my job hours.

First let me introduce you to my Backstreet World :

That group is my guilty pleasure, honestly since I am like 12 years old they have been part of my life and I am not even ashamed to say it. So when I heard that a movie / Documentary was coming well my heart melted. Yes it was that intense in my head.

So if I am doing the math correctly I have been following them for like 17 years. This is just crazy and I hope you realized I have said following and not “fan” because I am not in that state of mind anymore, I don’t have any posters on my wall and I don’t collect (anymore!) everything about them. I am a grown up married woman and those guys have been weirdly like a second family for me. Yup 5 brothers to me and this group helped me a lot throughout difficult time and I can’t thank them enough, well technically I haven’t but you know what I mean.

So here I am, I thought I knew everything about them but this documentary proved me wrong. I have laughed, cried and felt a bit awkward as well at some moment. This documentary has been shot perfectly and you can’t get more deeply into their story, trust me those 5 guys are incredible and they deserve the fame that they still have after more than 20 years together.

I know what you are probably thinking right now. Yes I know people are still referring to them as a boyband but really do they still deserve to be label like that after all these years ? I don’t think so, they are a group and a really talented one. I am so happy to actually be part of the adventure because last thursday, It was mesmerizing!

Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of

The documentary does not explain it all don’t get me wrong this is not a VH1 documentary. It tells a story and the boys are being very honest with who they are, what they have been through and how they can handle it now. So the movie was intense, they were filmed over two years and we follow them in London (Hey hey, shout out to my City) where they have recorded the last album but we also follow them on a kind of a memory lane in their home town. I was very touched by Kevin and Nick, I didn’t know that they were so deeply touched by so many sad and overwhelming memories.

That documentary is also about how they started, how the group was created. Again, I have learned so many things that I didn’t know. Lou Perlman created them but also destroyed them in many ways. In the 90’s nothing was easy for a group of five young boys but at the end, after all the issues and problems they are still here, making great music.

So no matter who you are, don’t judge please. Everybody is entitled to like whatever they like and this group is very important to my heart. I mean those 5 guys are real people and honestly after that crazy era of boybands we have been through I am so proud of them and what they achieved. This documentary was a big shock in so many ways, I still have some butterflies in my stomach a few days later.

The performance was just what we all needed. Acoustic, simple and so true. I loved every song they have picked and it was amazing to see all the love toward them in the theatre. In my theatre everybody was so pleased as well, a few us were still on cloud number 9 few minutes after credits. I just love them to bits.

Of course I would recommend everybody to watch it and for many different reasons. If you are a fan, it is common sense. If you are not at all, just be curious and keep in my mind that you will be transported to the 90’s which is so amazing (and scary, felt really old while watching) and weird at the same time. And finally if you are a hater well, give it a go you might be very surprised.

One last word : KTBSBPA !

Joe Hill // Horns // Book Review

horns

Horns // Joe Hill

Every time I will end a book a review will be done. So last night I have finished Horns, by the not that well known author Joe Hill. I read it in french, so it is going to be epic to actually translate my thoughts right now but I will succeed, promise.

So a little bit of background first. When I say about the author that he is not very well known it’s only because he decided to change his last name. Mr Joe is the son of our beloved creepiest author on earth : Stephen King. I was really thrilled when my Mom told me about him, it is like someone is taking over (well not over, he is not dead and still writing, but ya know what I mean) with a pair of fresh new eyes on King’s thoughts. Because let me tell ya something my fellow reader, this guys is as f***** up as his dad! And I love it!

Long story short, that can be creepy for some people but I have been a fan since my Mom decided I was old enough to read that kind of story so it is pretty thrilling to hear that his son is quite the same, or let’s say in the same path. Because don’t get me wrong but Mr King has lost a little bit of his weirdness over the years, his stories are very confusing and less surprising. So with Joe Hill it is like someone through me back 15 years ago in my teenage bedroom.

So what the Hell (lol you will understand it later) is Horns about ?

Well let me get that straight, I am not going to try and spoil the book but it is kind of hard so if you don’t want to know, stop reading. Thank you.

The book is mainly about Ig Perrish, a 26 years old guy accused of a terrible thing ; Rape and murder of his beloved girlfriend Merrin Williams. Ig has been a person of interest, then a suspect and at the end a non suspect that everybody think guilty. So he is living in a really horrible situation and of course he didn’t do it but every evidences point toward him. One morning, a year after the murder he wakes up and at the top of his head seats two tiny horns ; now he is able to hear the truth from people’s mouth, the ugly truth unfortunalty. So the only blessing with those horns is that he is now able to seek justice and finally find what really happened to his girlfriend. But nothing will be easy for him because a wannabe demon trapped in a human body is not an easy situation.

I did my best with the summary guys, hope spoilers were not too bad.

I like the novel really bad, I love how you get into Ig’s head, thoughts and feelings. The book is mainly about that really thin barrier between evil and good. Most of the articles I found talked about the fact that maybe the devil is a anti hero. After all and I quote the book : “Him and God are supposed to be at war with each other. But if God hates sin and Satan punishes the sinners, aren’t they working the same side of the street? Aren’t the judge and the executioner on the same team?” ; I do totally agree with that quote, that is so true, there is not black and white, only shades of grey (not the movie, please…) and moments that are good and moments that are not.

So the reflexion on religion is very interesting because Ig is not fighting for long his condition, he embrace it and for one good reason : he doesn’t want to be in a world where people are hiding behind big words and small actions. But the book is also about love of course, how far can you go to protect to soul of your loved ones ? Mr Hill has a lovely philosophy when it comes to illness as well, we should not see sick people as weak, they are still persons until the end so why are we treating them as if they were not here already.

Overall it is more than a horror book or story, not to mention that it was really funny from time time (love Hill’s Sense of Humor). I love how Joe Hill uses his story to actually inject his thoughts about the world and how stupid and cowardly the society is. So for me it is a big surprise, a new author to read and follow. Mr Hill I guess you hate to hear that but yup your are walking on your Daddy’s footsteps of craziness! Well done.

Note : 9/10

Too bad I’ve seen the movie before reading the book, it took away all the mystery, but the movie was a good one as well, very different but charming and very well shot.
